Credit Distribution, Non Performing Credit Dan Net Profit In Banking Companies Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia (Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI dan BTN) Periode 2016 – 2020

The banking world is currently experiencing many obstacles due to the Covid 19 virus disaster that has hit almost all corners of the world. In Indonesia, the condition of the banking world is currently experiencing obstacles that are very pronounced with the Covid 19 virus disaster. This change is not only caused by developments outside the banking world, such as the real sector in the economic, political, social, legal, defense and security sectors. At the beginning of 2019, the banking industry experienced a complete setback as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic that hit Indonesia. The Indonesian state since mid-2019 has resulted in all economic potentials experiencing a setback and on the verge of bankruptcy.The population in this study are Indonesian government banking companies, namely Bank Mandiri, Bank BRI, Bank BNI and Bank BTN. The sampling technique used is the proportionate stratified random sampling technique which means that this technique is used in populations that have a stratified or layered arrangement. The method used in this study is the associative method. The associative method is a research problem formulation that is asking the relationship between two or more variables in the population, which will be tested through the relationship between variables in the sample taken from the population. The test results have a significant effect between the variables of lending to the net income variable at Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI and BTN where the test results state that the significance level of the lending variable is smaller than 0.05. It can be seen from the test results that lending can increase net profit positively to Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI and BTN so that it can be stated that the performance of lending at the 4 banks is good. The performance of these 4 banks in controlling NPL is good. Credit distribution and NPL or non-performing loans have a significant effect on net income at Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI and BTN where the significance level is less than 0.005 and the Fcount is 42.409. The test results state that 2 variables, namely lending and NPL can increase profits at the Bank, and good performance is needed in continuing to improve efforts to widen credit services from various customer needs in accordance with the times and suppress the NPL ratio in order to increase net profit. on the bank.
